Scarlet Letter Band

Scarlet Letter is: Aubrey Bohl – Vocals/Guitar, Art Diaz – Guitar, Ty Ford – Bass

Scarlet Letter derived their name not only from the classic by Nathanial Hawthorne in a metaphorical sense, but also from the Word of God in a literal sense. In Hawthorne’s tale, a young Hester Prynne is ridiculed for committing adultery, and because she won’t reveal the father of her illegitimate child, she is forced to wear a scarlet “A” on her chest so that all may know of the wrong she has done. The story of man is not much different than Hester’s, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.

However, the band’s aim is to tell the best part of the story: God’s unending love. Because God sent his son, Jesus, to die for our sins, we no longer have to wear our imaginary scarlet letters that label us as sinners. God tells us in Isaiah 1:18 “Though your sins are like scarlet, I will make them as white as snow.” Through Jesus, all of our sins are wiped clean, and we are made new. This is why Scarlet Letter tours the country, playing music over 200 dates a year; to give this generation’s youth the answer that they are so desperately seeking.

Remember: skills, not memberships.

Keep a shaker/bottle of water and IP drink packet or pre-mix drink on hand at all times. This will come in handy if you find yourself in a pinch and need a protein. PLUS-being they are non-restricted you won't find yourself left with the choice of either eating a double restricted item that day or not eating at all! Both of which are not good options! Read More »
